    Cindy Gauthier

    Cindy Gauthier has been in the healthcare field for over 25 years. Her experience encompasses 10+ years in long term care as both a Business Office Manager and Director of Marketing and Admissions; 5 years in Assisted Living Management; 10 years in Long Term Acute Care (LTAC) as a Community Liaison/ Admission Coordinator. Her current position is as a Community Liaison with AMG Specialty Hospital. Cindy believes in networking, helping with community education and hopes to make a difference to those she comes in contact with.

    Patricia Heinzman, BSN, RN-BC, CCM

    Patricia Heinzman has been a member of CMSA for over fourteen years in the Albuquerque and Kansas City Chapters and has held a variety of positions. She is currently employed as the Diabetes Coordinator with Quality and Population Management in Health Services at Presbyterian Health Plan. Patricia graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from the University of Northern Colorado and celebrated 30 years in nursing in June of 2009. Her clinical experience includes emergency department nursing, critical care, orthopaedics, practice management, research, nursing management, case management, disease management and project management.

    Karen Cooper is the Director of Business Development for Silverliningscareguide.com, an on-line resource guide for Seniors and Case Managers.  She has been in Health Care Sales and Marketing for 20 years in the Albuquerque area. She has experience in DME, Home Health and Home Infusion. “I have Muscular Dystrophy in my family and I wanted to learn everything I could about healthcare to help my family, it’s been an AMAZING benefit to us!” Karen has a degree in Broadcast Journalism from ENMU in Portales, NM and prior to healthcare she was a New Director for an AM/FM Radio Station for many years.

  • Audrey Graham RN,BSN,CCM

    Treasurer

    Audrey Graham RN, BSN, CCM has been a nurse since 1997. She worked at Lovelace Hospital on Gibson, and has been at Presbyterian Hospital since 2005. Prior to becoming a Case Manager in 2012, Audrey was a charge nurse on the Adult Progressive Care Unit at Presbyterian Hospital. Audrey’s hobbies include cooking, gardening, and reading, and watching football and basketball. She lives in Albuquerque with her husband, Cliff, their two Boston Terriers Frankie and Freddy. Her daughter Sydney is a cadet at the US Air Force Academy

  • Stephanie Thompson, RN-BC, CCM, BS, MS

    Director - Public Policy Chair

    Stephanie has over 40 years of nursing experience. Her Clinical Nursing experience was Labor and Delivery at The Ohio State University Hospital, Fort Benning Army Hospital, Santa Rosa General Hospital and Tampa General Hospital. She worked for Blue Cross Blue Shield New Mexico for 25 years in Managed Care and Case Management. Stephanie is a trained Project Manager and was the Core Team Lead for a five State implementation of a new Managed Care system.Stephanie is a Director on the Rio Grande Chapter CMSA and the Public Policy Liaison for the Chapter. Currently she is serving on the Board of the National CMSA Public Policy Committee.

    Loretta Cordova has earned a B.A. in Sociology and a Masters in Social Work with a concentration in Criminal Justice and Clinical Practice from New Mexico Highlands University. Loretta is a Certified Case Manager. Loretta has experience working with diverse populations including persons with substance abuse, developmental delays, AIDS, traumatic brain injury, elderly, and children, disabled and medically fragile children.  Loretta Cordova is the Senior Director for Integrated Behavioral Health for United Healthcare Community Plan.  Loretta is a Board Member for the Rio Grande Case Management Society of America.

  • Yolanda Reyes

    I have 39 yrs of nursing experience!  I spent ½ of my nursing career proudly serving with the United States Air Force Nurse Corps.   While active duty and after retiring  I’ve worked in a variety of setting including Med-Surg, Critical Care, Staff Development and Managed Care.  I’ve spent the last 8 yrs working with the New Mexico VA Health Care System.   For 4 of those years I had the prevalige of working with Veteran’s returning from Iraq and Afghanistan as the OEF/OIF RN Case Manager.   I’m currently working as a Care Coordinator  in the Home Telehealth Department.  After receiving my CCM Certification in 2010 I joined CMSA.   Being a member of CMSA and our local Rio Grande Chapter has been a rewarding experience for me.   I have the opportunity to work with dedicated board members whose goal is to educate others on Case Management and provide quality education for RN and SW Case Managers!

    Liz graduated with a dual degree in Marketing from the University of New Mexico in 1987. Her first position was as the Director of the Convention and Visitors Bureau in Ruidoso NM. She has spent the last 26 years in the Health Care Industry. The first 17 of those years as a pharmaceutical representative, and the past 9 years as the Co-Owner if For Your Care In-Home Care, a family owned and operated in home non-medical care-giving company. Liz has been involved not only in the patient care side of the business but also the marketing side. Liz does talks on Fall Prevention to organizations, churches and associations.
  • Deanna Talley, MSMHA, RN, CCM, CPHQ

    Deanna is an RN with 30+ years of healthcare experience in acute care and insurance/managed care. She has undergraduate and graduate degrees in business, management, and healthcare administration. She has been a Certified Case Manager and a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality for more than 10 years, and is a former Project Management Professional. Deanna is the Associate Vice President of Healthcare Services Case Management for Molina Healthcare of New Mexico. She has volunteered on various professional and public service boards, and is pleased to serve and help grow the Case Management professional community.

  • Joseph Boyd

    Joseph joined CSI in 2012 and is responsible for generating new medical flight opportunities, maintaining successful Case Manager relationships as well as managing medical flight coordination. In addition, he volunteers on a variety of boards that focus on the enrichment and economic development of the local community. Prior to joining CSI, Joseph worked as a U.S. Navy Hospital Corpsman while serving in Iraq and Afghanistan. He holds a B.A. degree in Strategic Communications from the University of New Mexico as well as a Master of Business Administration from UNM Anderson School of Business,
